We're a community interest company. Membership covers the running costs; grants and the repair café pay for the rest.

03Questions

Before you join.

What if I break something?

Tell us. Tools wear out and accidents happen; we only ask you to pay towards a repair if something was clearly misused. Deposits on a few tools cover the costly parts.

Do I need to show ID?

Bring something with your name and a Kelsby-area address the first time you visit. A bill, a tenancy agreement or a letter from your GP is fine.

Can I change my monthly amount?

Any time, up or down, from your account page or at the counter. Nobody asks why.

Do you deliver?

Not yet. Our cargo bike can bring heavy kit to members who can't get to the yard; ask at the counter and we'll arrange a slot.

Is there an induction?

For the circular saw, the table saw and the pillar drill, yes: a free 30-minute session. Everything else comes with a printed guide in the case.
