01How it works

A library card, but for tools.

  1. Join for what you can afford

Pick a monthly amount from £2. Everyone gets the same card and the same shelves.

  2. Reserve online, or just turn up

Check what's on the shelf, hold it for 24 hours, and collect it on your way home.

  3. Use it, then bring it back

Most loans run for a week. We check, clean and sharpen everything between borrowers.

What members say

“I needed a tile cutter for one weekend. It would have cost me £60 and lived in the shed for ten years. Instead it cost a walk to the yard.”

Priya, Ropewalk Road

“The repair café fixed my nan's sewing machine in twenty minutes, then showed me how to keep it running.”

Callum, Mill Lane
